Koko TANG | Founder

Koko founded Colorful Earth in 2022 with the desire to protect the colors of nature and people. Koko is also the co-founder of Vinetree Tourism a leading Chinese ecotourism company. She has been an ExCo Member & Board Member of Global Sustainable Tourism Council since 2019. She founded Enterprise Financial Management Association, ESG Association of China in 2022, and serves as its Vice President. She is also the ESG Director of Fudan University, Institute of Commerce, Civilization, Commons.
Qionger JIANG | Founder

Along with Koko, Ms. Jiang jointly founded Colorful Earth in 2022. She intends to bring art, aesthetics, creativity, innovation into suitability, and to connect people for the purpose of preserve the color of the world. Ms. Jiang co-founded with Hermes the contemporary lifestyle brand SHANG XIA. Her design art works are now displayed in the permanent collections in: British museum, V & A, Museum Guimet, Museum des ARTS DECOS etc. Ms. Jiang was named Forbes 25 Most Influential Chinese in Global Fashion and Lifestyle.
Cathy HE | Co-founder

Cathy became a cofounder of Colorful Earth in 2022 with a strong desire to protect the colors of the world. Cathy has a business management degree from Queen Mary, University of London. She has many rich experience in high-end international fashion boutique brands such as Boucheron. Her enthusiasm and passion in sustainability has been driving her change. She wants to use her knowledge to help the consumption industry to transit into a more sustainable manner.
Boyao CHU | Partner

Boyao has rich experience in tourism-related sectors. He served as the Vice President of Beijing Universal Studios. He has been engaged with the project from concept level to execution. Mr. Chu recently served as chief operating officer for the Wenheyou Group, a Chinese local culture-orientated new consumption unicorn company, where he was responsible for new projects and growth development, ESG and legal and risk management affairs. Boyao joined Colorful Earth as a partner in 2023.
Terry Townshend | Partner

Terry is a Beijing-based biodiversity and climate change expert with specific expertise in legislation and wildlife conservation. He runs the Birding Beijing website (www.birdingbeijing.com). In 2018 he became a Fellow of the Paulson Institute, advising their conservation programme, and in 2019 he was invited by the Beijing Municipal Government to be an advisor on a project to protect and restore Beijing's biodiversity. Terry joined Colorful Earth as a partner upon its foundation in 2022， and he sits on its advisory board.
John Mackinnon | Partner

British international biodiversity conservation expert and renowned ornithologist, John is the Emeritus Professor of Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology. He has worked in Asia for nearly 40 years and has long been committed to wildlife conservation in Asian countries. He is also the author of the first Field Guide to the Birds of China. John joined Colorful Earth as a partner upon its foundation in 2022. and he sits on its advisory board.
Martin Heng | Partner

Martin worked for Lonely Planet for 20 years in numerous roles, including seven as Editorial Manager. A bicycle accident in 2010 left him a quadriplegic, following which he became Accessible Travel Manager, in which role he published the world’s largest collection of Accessible Travel Online Resources and an accessible guide to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympics. He has become an acknowledged accessible travel expert and regular speaker at travel conferences held by such global travel NGOs as UNWTO, WTTC, GSTC, IATA and PATA. Martin becomes a partner of Colorful Earth in 2023.
